Refaei has about 12+ years of experience in Architecture, design development and site supervision.
He also handled various diverse projects (high rises, low rises, and communities), designed and
coordinated at the pre‐contract level several projects of wide spectrum including residential,
hospitality, and commercial building types.
Responsibilities
 Working with a team to assist the Chief Designer creating proposals for a wide range of projects
and design competitions. Designing & presenting.
 Making design sketches, Creating concepts & Preliminary drawings for the projects.
 Provide extensive support to the team during design development process right from the
project inception.
 Manage the team of architects to coordinate the various drawings required for tender.
 Responsible in monitoring approvals from designated authorities.
 Provide full coordination with the structural & MEP consultants to suit architectural design.
 Provide technical expertise in coordination with the specialist sub‐consultant for various aspects.
 Prepare construction drawings and details for final submission to contractors.
 Liaise with main contractor during the construction process and clarify any discrepancies that
may arise.
 Aid in aesthetic aspect of finishing materials selection in term of colors, textures, sizes, etc.
 Arrange a site visits and attend the progress meeting.
 Coordinate with Interior Designer when required.
