Curriculum Integration Guide

INTEGRATION GUIDE
For more than 30 years, Bloomberg has partnered with the industry’s top global financial institutions, providing key
decision makers with the tools, news, and data they need to stay in front of the markets and ahead of the competition. Our
educational division, Bloomberg Institute, infuses financial recruiting with the same transparency, efficiency, and clarity we
bring to our core businesses.
In an effort to bring Bloomberg into the classroom, professors around the world are offering the BAT to their students
through a course integration program that provides many benefits for professors. To integrate the BAT into your
curriculum:
1. Contact us at bat@bloomberginstitute.com. We will connect you with the University Relationship Manager
covering your college or university.
2. Your University Relationship Manager will let you know of any upcoming BAT sessions on your campus, or help
you schedule a session that better fits your class schedule. You can offer it during your class time, or at another
time that works with your student’s schedules.
3. Your University Relationship Manager will provide you with sample syllabi, showing how other professors have
offered the BAT as extra credit, an alternative assignment, and as a mandatory assignment. They will also
provide you will all information to help students register for the session(s).
4. If you would like a list of students who have taken the BAT in order to assign credit for class, please let your
University Relationship Manager know prior to the test date.
5. Student scores will be processed within 5-6 weeks of the BAT session. Upon release of the scores, our team can
create a University Report for you upon request, and subscribe you and/or your students to Bloomberg Briefs.
UNIVERSITY REPORTS can be provided to evaluate your students’ aggregate performance compared to other
students on a National, Regional and Worldwide basis. This data is provided only to the university, and can be used in
any way the university sees fit (such as for accreditation and assurance of learning). We are happy to have our data team
create a University Report for one BAT session, or a range of BAT sessions.
BLOOMBERG BRIEFS Professors and students can receive six months of free Bloomberg Briefs- Bloomberg's
premium industry specific newsletter valued at $2,000 and used by tens of thousands of hedge fund managers, bankers
and portfolio managers. Bloomberg Briefs serve as a valuable teaching tool when referenced in lectures. Briefs also
provide insight into the industry, help students stay up-to-date on current events and enhance performance in interviews.
* Bloomberg Briefs and University Reports are only offered with course integration. Course Integration can be implemented by making the
BAT an alternative assignment, extra credit, or mandatory
