Act Six Scholarship Tacoma, WA 2014 - Present
• Participate in diversity training, structured reflection, and character building 20+ scholars on PLU’s
campus to become a well rounded leader after college.
• Developing tangible leadership styles to become a proactive leader who is able to have multiple
perspectives when working with other people.
Act Six Phase Two, Act Six Organization Todd Beamer High School,
WA
• Collaborated with other Act Six scholars in coordinating events to create a space of growth and
authenticity by assisting the Act Six headquarters coordinate scholar events.
• Followed instructions required by the volunteer coordinator to execute proper room set up and
appropriate room tear down with 25+ other volunteers.
• Training in Race, Cultural, and Socioeconomics and how it affects the college experience to became
well-rounded in understanding individual student experience and learning that leadership can be
listening.
Sounds of Solidarity
• Engaged 50+ students form multiple backgrounds in conversations of cultural competency, culture
differences and systematic injustices by programming an event based on solidarity.

• Actively balanced answering phones, organizing numerous storage rooms, and working front desk

Tacoma Urban Project Hilltop Tacoma, WA 2015
• Partnered with the Tacoma Rescue Mission where I interacted with diverse communities by
addressing various critical needs and concern to assist the Tacoma Urban Project holistically.
Stuen Front Desk Worker Pacific Lutheran University, September 2015-
• Maintained an welcoming, inclusive environment while keeping proper security measures uplifted in the
halls, documenting packages arrive, and following procedures by my supervisor sets.
