I'm helping lead a team responsible for rolling out, under the Horizon 2020 programme, the new "InnovFin"​ suite of debt and equity financial instruments (successors to the RSFF, the RSI and GIF-1), the new SME Instrument, and the 'Fast Track to Innovation'​ pilot. We also steer the modernisation of R&I-related parts of the EU's state aid system and ensure the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI) supports R&I. I'm also designing alternative financing facilities to support R&I in 2016-2017 via angel investments, crowdfunding and funds-of-funds.
