2. PESTLE Analysis can be done in a 1-2 hour brainstorming session or a multi-week project. Start with the
brainstorming session to ideate on potential mega-trends, which can impact the industry over the next 1-5 years.
Organize your ideas by category, brainstorm implications to the industry, and then prioritize the top 2-3 for each
category. The next step is to think through potential actions or strategies to either capitalize on opportunities or
neutralize / minimize threats. Highlight those that may need additional research and analysis.
