Rise. Shine. Win.
This theme conceptually revolves around the Bank of India star and its
journey through an eventful 112 years. In its delivery, it conveys the spirit of
the bank... the ‘Rise’ from humble beginnings; a consolidation through its
several achievements – thus ‘shine’; all of which has made it an unequivocal
success in the world of banking... ‘Win’.

Our Customers. Our Stars.
The Bank of India star is a familiar and identifiable icon in the world
of banking. It is representative of 112 years of corporate success. Yet,
the bank is very clear that none of this success would have been
possible without its customers. In effect, the real stars of its ‘show’
are its customers!

An Illuminating Past. A Glorious Future.
It’s been an eventful 112 years. A century and more of banking
success that has lit up customers’ lives and been a matter of pride for
employees and other stakeholders. In short, it’s truly been an
illuminating past. Which, in turn lays the foundation for a glorious
future. This thought thus captures the spirit and sentiment of the
bank throughout its overarching existence – fusing the past and
future into a constant, unwavering pursuit of excellence.

Celebrating Relationships
The Bank of India tagline is ‘Relationships beyond banking’. It
encapsulates the fact that relationships (with its customers and
other stakeholders) are the centricity of its very existence and
success. Hence in every sense of the word, the 112th
Foundation Day
celebrations are a celebration of the sum total of all these
relationships. This thought gels perfectly with, and is a seamless
extension of, the tagline.
