The Master of International Business is a one year
program that offers an in-depth examination of
the issues managers face in the global economy
to cross-cultural leadership while adopting an
innovative global virtual teams-based approach to
learning maintaining extensive partnerships with
international schools. The Smith MIB program
molds leaders that are able to tackle the
globalized world head on.
Queen’s utilizes an innovative approach to team based learning that is far
more sophisticated than that used in other programs. Students will
complete a course on working in multicultural teams and you will be
assigned to a team for the core of the program. A significant portion of
your overall grade is derived from teamwork.

The International Business Project is a team-based, team-directed project conducted with the guidance of an industry expert allowing
students to research and analyze and international business issue while applying concepts learned throughout the MIB program.
