To Whom It May Concern,
During the process of finding services to support my father in his old age, I was very fortunate to
have met Philip Wong. He was an intake staff for On Lok Lifeways where we submitted an
application.
In handling my father’s case, Philip was compassionate, diligent and tireless. He thought
carefully of the information that is required for a comprehensive assessment of my father’s
physical and mental conditions. He then, tirelessly worked with me to gather the information
from various sources. I was very impressed with his knowledge of the requirements and policies
governing this type of services for the frail elderly population.
I know his work days did not end at 5PM. Often, there would be emails sent by Philip in the
evenings, asking for additional information or clarifications of my father’s situation.
Philip handled our meetings with upmost professionalism. My father was most impressed with
how very courteous and respectful he was treated by Philip.
I am more than happy to serve as reference for Philip. Please feel free to contact me at
noreen.chen@stanford.edu.
Sincerely,
Noreen Chen
