The Company
Founded in 2011, Lotan Architectural Photography are specialists committed to producing the finest photographs of
contemporary architecture, urban design and the built environment. We believe in honest, professional and reliable service,

The Photographer
British photographer Peter Dixie (b. 1976) is based in Shanghai and produces images that explore
landscape, the city and the built environment. His images convey a sense of the presence, structure
and human dimensions of the location.
After graduating with a BA in Philosophy (Bristol, 1998) he moved to Japan where between 2003
& 2005 he trained at the professional photo lab DOI Tech Tokyo learning hand printing darkroom
technique in both black & white and colour. Following this he returned to the UK where he studied
Professional Photography for a further two years at The Arts Institute at Bournemouth (now
The Arts University College at Bournemouth). He then relocated to Shanghai to pursue personal
projects culminating in the ongoing series 上海Hinterland. (peterdixie.com)

He now works full time for LOTAN Architectural Photography.
