4. 1.
You always have to have a
concept before shooting!
Photograph conceptually, on purpose, bravely!
Try to think in photo series not burst shots!
Less is definitely more! Except sport, wildlife, etc.
shoot when “spray and pray” is relevant😊!
10. 4.
Shape your own style!
If you are recognizable that could be your future
brand. Bad news: Never be confused with others
because that is so easy to recognize a mimic.
Good news: Your vision can’t be stolen.
You don’t have to be better and sometimes you simply
can’t. But you can be different anytime.
Fortune favours the brave.
12. 5.
Get up!
Get on the move with Client. There are no stagelike
situation on the street. It’s more dynamic, authentic,
smart and intuitive. Improvisation is your best tool.
Emotion comes from motion.
14. 6.
Don’t take selfies!
Never take selfies when you have more options
among the people. (Unless this is the concept or no
one around you) You can always find a friendly person
on the street and you can always find a situation to
help others out. If you miss out these opportunities, you
can lose exciting and unforgettable moments even
when you have the best composed tourist photo ever.
16. 7.
Storytelling is sexy!
If you miss the shot for some reason (e.g. photography
is prohibited, circumstances are awful or no camera at
hand, etc.) just live the moment and tell it to others.
Storytelling is exciting because it improves your
communication skills, cares about your friends and
loved ones. What else?”
18. 8.
Just do it!
Don’t be lazy to move out, grab your camera,
communicate, improvise and shoot! Practice makes
perfect. 5 nailed papparazzi photo is less than 1
conceptual, planned and imaginative one even when
you fail for the first time. → 20% of the things cause 80%
of the results. (Pareto principle)
20. 9.
Fall into a trance!
If you feel it so just let yourself feel this way! This
indicates that you are crazy for your profession.
The photographer and his/her camera will be one with
the Client and the mission so don’t be afraid of your
obsession. Honor these moments because they never
return so always be prapared for action. It will help you
to master your craft.
22. 10.
Share with others!
Print your best photographs.
Frame and decorate your flat.
Make photobook and give away.
Share your best images via social platforms.
Organize your first exhibition if you can (afford).
