Peter Clutterbuck’s career background :
15 year fast track career with the BP Group in operations management positions in the
Middle East, North Sea, and Alaska: development, operations, reservoir management
Subsequently managed a number of independent oil and gas companies operating in
Europe, South America, Africa, Asia, and the former Soviet Union. Raised and/or
managed oil and gas investments over $600 million.
Responsible for the discovery and initial development of the Rubiales field in Colombia,
later valued at $6 billion, producing over 200,000 bopd
Founded and managed Northern Petroleum (AIM, Europe focus), NED for President
Energy (AIM, mainly US focus) and Mediterranean Oil and Gas (AIM, mainly Italy)
VP Operations for the PanOcean / PanAfrican Group of companies, responsible for the
Gabon onshore / offshore business. PanOcean was sold in 2006 for $US 1.4 billion
CEO of Toronto listed Orca Exploration from 2003 to 2010, developed the Songo Songo
asset in Tanzania, to 100 mmscfd for 5 power stations and 36 industries
CEO of AIM listed 3Legs Resources: first company to produce shale gas in Europe (from
horizontal hydraulically fractured wells in Poland Baltic basin)
