Press Operations Crew 8/7/2015 - 8/15/2015TITLE
• Mixed zone crew: Support the flow and operations of the mixed
zone where athletes are interviewed upon exiting the competition
area.
• Workroom crew: Support the overall operation of the Venue
Media Centre, including helping media with general inquiries.
• Help desk crew: Assist at the help desk in the Venue Media
Centre where you will welcome and answer all media inquiries.
• Tribune crew: Assist in managing access to the press tribunes
(seating or viewing areas for the press) and support the press
working there during competition sessions.
• Games News Service crew: Take flash quotes from athletes in the
mixed zone and at media availability sessions. This will include
transcribing quotes and submitting them electronically to a central
editorial team.
• Media availability crew: Assist at media availability sessions on
venue where athletes can be interviewed following medal
ceremonies.
