With a total length of about 480 kilometers, the Mombasa-Nairobi Railway runs from Mombasa in
the east of Kenya to Nairobi in the west. It started in September 2014 and was opened to traffic on
May 31, 2017. This is the first new railway since Kenya’s independence. It has adopted Chinese
standards across the board.
“The impact of the Mombasa--Nairobi railway project exceeded our expectations. The GDP of the
country along the road after the completion of the project will thus increase by 2.5%, which will
also greatly promote the development of the tourism industry. The passenger flow between

Into the Masai Mara National Park
Last year my manager Rita have a visit to Masai Mara, it’s really attractive, this time she will
bring our big team to visit Masai Mara.
The Masai Mara National Park is considered to be the world's most famous wildlife sanctuary.
This animal paradise is composed of 1672 square kilometres of open plains, woodlands and
riparian forests. Built in 1961, the Masai Mara National Park is home to the world’s largest wild
mammals and has 95 species of mammals and 450 species of birds. The vast expanse of grass is
dotted with herds of zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and horns; the artichoke trees are full of birds and
monkeys; elephants and African buffaloes roam across the vast Msi Ara marshland. In the middle
of the Rahe River there are many hippos and crocodile. This natural thing is isolating the contact
with the city. Mara is known as the Kingdom of the Lions. These majestic and powerful predators
dominate these grasslands. The cheetahs are also very common. There are also hyenas and small
predators such as jackals.
