If your answer does not contain the proper ER Diagram, you will get a straight dislike. DO NOT GIVE INCOMPLETE ANSWER. QUESTION: You are to design a Hospital database. So before creating the database, your task is to design the ER diagram based on the following data requirements: a. The hospital has departments. Each department has a name, department ID, and location. The location consists of floor number and wing number (which will contain the values North, South, East, or West). b. Doctors work for the department. Doctors have license numbers, names, titles, and multiple specializations. Some doctors supervise other doctors. c. A patient will have a name, and unique ID, and may have more than one phone number, age, height, weight, and symptoms. d. Patients take appointments with doctors. The appointment date and time are recorded. e. A patient may have an attendant. An attendant will have his/her name and relationship with the patient recorded in the database. The hospital allows 1 attendant with each patient. Write down any assumptions you may have made. .

I. Explain this abstract and use some key points to use review some concepts Abstract There is now compelling evidence that the complexity of higher organisms correlates with the relative amount of non-coding RNA rather than the number of protein-coding genes. Previously dismissed as "junk DNA", it is the non-coding regions of the genome that are responsible for regulation, facilitating complex temporal and spatial gene expression through the combinatorial effect of numerous mechanisms and interactions working together to fine-tune gene expression. The major regions involved in regulation of a particular gene are the 5' and 3' untranslated regions and introns. In addition, pervasive transcription of complex genomes produces a variety of non-coding transcripts that interact with these regions and contribute to regulation. This review discusses recent insights into the regulatory roles of the untranslated gene regions and non-coding RNAs in the control of complex gene expression, as well as the implications of this in terms of organism complexity and evolution. II. Function of introns The intron-exon architecture of many eukaryotic genes raises the intriguing question of whether this unique organization serves any function, or is it simply a result of the spread of functionless introns in eukaryotic genomes. In this review, we show that introns in contemporary species fulfill a broad spectrum of functions, and are involved in virtually every step of mRNA processing. We propose that this great diversity of intronic functions supports the notion that introns were indeed selfish elements in early eukaryotes, but then independently gained numerous functions in different eukaryotic lineages. We suggest a novel criterion of evolutionary conservation, dubbed intron positional conservation, which can identify functional introns. .

Lavish Living - Senior Living Communities Potential issues Leadership - The third generation of family business leadership has led to infighting and a lack of commitment among the owners. Some family members have gotten lazy and taken more money out of the company for themselves. Others have gotten territorial in trying to claim more of the decision-making responsibilities. Financials - While the company is profitable, the margins have been consistently declining. Moreover, top-line revenue growth has been slow while the industry as a whole has been growing quickly. Brand - Due to marketing efforts through the years, the brand is well known. However, more recently Lavish Living has been thought of as a legacy brand that is deteriorating. Turnover - Industry average turnover is around 20% whereas Lavish Living has experienced 30% 40% turnover in each of the last three years. This is somewhat a result of the leadership and has impacted the lowered financials and worsening brand. Lavish Living - Senior Living Communities Primary Selling Features - Brand Name - The company is well-known in the communities it serves for having a variety of high quality amenities, although the brand is becoming a bit dated. - Leadership Team - The top leadership are siblings and the grandchildren of the founder. Lavish Living points out that that top management can be regularly seen around the properties and know many of the residents. - Medical Staff - Each location has a full-time medical staff. Depending on the location, the staff is comprised of doctors, nurses, and physician assistants who provide 24-hour access to care. - Integrated Care Community - The medical staff, nutritionists, and other care providers have a strong collaborative culture. This includes regular all staff meetings to discuss any patient issues where all opinions are welcome. - Exterior Walking Trails - Senior citizens desire access to outside activities and the walking trails provide ample opportunity to maintain healthy habits. - Dining Rooms - Every location has large dining rooms with table-side service as well as a buffet option. - Locations - All 12 locations are centrally located. While not typically important for fully contained senior living communities, Lavish Living highlights how this makes it easier for family members to visit. Lavish Living - Senior Living Communities Key Statistics - 12 locations - 4 states - \$63 million in revenue - $750 , 000 in profit - 900 employees .

I. CASE STUDY: Trip Management System. Previously people wishing to visit places had to manually search for available accommodation at the visiting places. Also they themselves had to make reservation. People hardly had any knowledge of which are the worth seeing places and about its history. Such procedure was time consuming and energy wasting. Tour Reservation System has made life very easy for such visitors by saving both their time and energy. Visitor requests for scheme to check the availability of the desired tour package. This information is stored in Tour Information System. System will check whether the customer is existing or new. New user will enter his personal and tour details for reservation. In turn he/she will be provided with system generated unique ID and password. This login information could be used for further transactions. When customer is satisfied with tour package he/she would request for reservation of tour. Personal details of new customer is stored in cust_info while the details regarding the tour selected by particular customer is stored in tour_info and the details regarding it would be restructured in Tour Information System. Existing customer can update his/her personal details in cust_info and cancel reservation for tour from tour_info and changes regarding it are also reflected in Tour Information System. After confirming the tour package the customer will make payment either online or through staff by personally going at the office. Customer can make payment by cash, credit card or by cheque. System checks for the validity of staff. Once the payment is done by customer, valid staff will make Ticket Reservation System. . Reserved customer will be able to view details about reservation by providing login information from cust_info and tour_info system. Administrator can add, delete or modify tour schemes from Tour Information System. .

I thought if the Liquidity Effect is fast but small and other effects are slow but large, it would increase the interest rate at first, and later decline. Is there something wrong with my logic? After a monetary policy action by a central bank, interest rates increased first, and later declined. This is due to ...... decrease in money supply, and slower liquidity effect increase in money supply, and slower liquidity effect increase in money supply, and faster liquidity effect .

I need to create a table by hand here is what I have so far. ID int, CoinType char(2), Date Date, MintMark char(2), Value Decimal(6,2), Condition char(2), AppraisalDate Date ); but I need to also put into the table the following The mint marks are either D (Denver), P (Philadelphia), S (San Francisco), O (New Orleans), CC (Carson City). Allow only these abbreviations. (HINT: Use in IN statement) Conditions are PR(Proof), BU (Brilliant Un-circulated), UC (Un-circulated), VF (Very Fine), (F)Fine, G (Good), P (Poor). Allow only these conditions. Only P, N, D, Q, H1, 1 should be allowed as coin types. Decide what should be filled when a record is added (nulls). The greatest portion of my collection is in pennies. Default the data type to a penny. Decide on an appropriate Primary key. .
