Weldtite introduces the new ‘Weldtech Bike Maintenance’ series
To coincide with our new Weldtite Factory Tour - Life @ Weldtite Towers video and TF2
commercial, we decided to launch a new set of ‘how to’ videos. For the series, we
approached extreme sports man and all round super cool guy, Scott Swalling. This guy
LIVES for biking and was the natural choice!
Filmed in Ultra HD, the video series branded under the ‘Weldtech Bike Maintenance’ series
will be available on our website - www.weldtite.co.uk along with YouTube and Vimeo
streams – all in 1080p HD. This means that whether you’re watching them on your 40” Smart
TV / Apple TV or just your MacBook / smartphone, they are going to look and sound
amazing! Scott was a little worried in case he had to wear make up to cover up any heavy
nights of partying.
Filming took place at Weldtite Towers (Weldtite’s Head Office), in Barton, Lincolnshire just
last week!
Seven videos will be available - these are…
Washing and lubing your bike
How to equip a home workshop
How to use a torque wrench
Basic bicycle tool kit
Pump your ride – value your valves
Adjust a rear mech/derailleur
Fix that puncture
The idea of these videos is to show how to do a real professional job without taking hours to do
so. They are suitable for the absolute biking beginner to the pro! These videos whilst fun and
informative can help to add years of life to your bike plus they’ll let you spend more time
where it’s really important - outside on the track!
Again, Phil from Big Fat Pigeon Productions was brought in under the art direction of me, Paul
Winn. A lot of technical thought and planning went into the making of the videos, whilst the
latest SONY Ultra HD pro camera was used to film.
2. See for yourself from mid November when all seven of the ‘Weldtech Bike Maintenance’ series
will be posted in GLORIOUS 1080p HD to our Facebook page, Twitter, YouTube channel, Vimeo
and of course www.weldtite.co.uk
