To Whom It May Concern:
In my capacity as the President of Shiloh Construction for over 25 years I had the opportunity to work
with Paul Pehrson on a daily basis, in his role as a construction superintendent and later as project
manager on multimillion dollar projects. I am not at liberty to speak in detail about the scope of work on
these projects, but I can say that Paul was involved in the direction and coordination of a variety of
trades whose work was complex and inter-related to a very significant degree.
I had the opportunity to observe Paul in a number of situations where problem-solving, interpersonal,
and technical skills of the highest level were required, and found him to be a valuable partner in
resolving sometimes complex and thorny issues. He was consistently positive in his approach to his
work, and a valued the input he provided to me and to Shiloh Construction.
Paul’s good humor and resourcefulness were much appreciated by me, and by everyone in our
company.
Paul is a team-oriented person, who draws on considerable experience in the work that he does. I have
found him to be consistently willing to listen to alternative viewpoints, and very willing to acknowledge
a better idea or approach if one is put forward. If you’ve had the opportunity to meet Paul you will know
that he is a friendly and approachable person, and I can tell you that he has the ability to get the most
out of people working under his direction. He provides leadership based on encouragement and support
of his team. He has high standards for his own work and that of his team, and the communication skills
(and backbone) to make sure those standards show up in the work that he does.
