Full Name: Andrea Kühn
Married to: Patrick Prahl
Andrea Kühn is a career Diplomat, she was born in Kroonstad, South Africa. She
graduated in 1988 with a degree in Law and in 1989 with a postgraduate degree in Law
both from the University of Pretoria. At university she was active in various community
initiatives and the struggle against apartheid. She joined the ANC in 1990 and is
currently the Chairperson of the International Relations Subcommittee of the ANC
Tshwane Ward 82. Andrea Kühn joined the Department of Foreign Affairs of the
Republic of South Africa in 1991 and has served in New York and in Berlin.
