2. Childbirth is a natural process, but
sometimes there are a variety of physical
complications that can lead to maternal
and neonatal death.

3. These are the symptoms that need to be
treated and taken to the hospital;
• Bleeding during pregnancy
• Convulsions
• Swelling of hands and feet
• Headache Severe illness
• Maternity pain for more than 12 hours
• Breaking water during pregnancy

4. The mother needs regular care during
pregnancy. At this time, the above
mentioned physical complications may
appear suddenly, then immediate
treatment is required as a slight delay can
lead to death of the mother.

5. What should be do;
• Everyone in the house needs to be on alert to
find out what danger symptoms can occur
during pregnancy.
• To reach the hospital Vehicles, vans,
rickshaws, etc. have to be contacted in
advance.
• It should be need to save money for urgent
needs. The mother should save some money
from the first day of pregnancy.

• Necessary documents of treatment should
be kept with carefully.
• If a pregnant woman has anaemia, her blood
group must be known to someone who has a
similar blood group, because blood can be
given in case of sudden need.
