Letter of Recommendation - Mr.Panagiotis Lagou
To Whom It May Concern,
It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Mr. Panagiotis Lagou.
I would like to express my respect and appreciation to Mr. Lagou who brought outstanding
contributions to the Marine Accident and Incident Investigation (MAIC) Service for a six
month period (October 2015 – March 2016), and worked under my direct supervision.
Mr. Lagou assisted the investigation of marine accidents and incidents of Cyprus flagged
ships all over the world and incidents of foreign flagged ships in the territorial waters of
Cyprus. He always conducted himself in a professional manner. His organizational and
communication skills (in both Greek and English), and dependability were of the highest
levels.
Panagiotis is a man of excellent character, who is thoroughly trustworthy and has excellent
judgment. He has proved to be a hard worker and his cooperation with customers
(governmental services and shipping companies) and with management makes him an ideal
employee.
It is without reservation that I give Mr. Lagou the highest recommendation. He is destined
to achieve new heights in his career and set new records for his future employer as he is a
committed employee and a pleasant person.
If I can be of any further assistance, or provide you with any further information, please do
not hesitate to contact me (corphanos@maic.gov.cy).
Yours sincerely,
Capt. Cleanthis Orphanos
Head of the Marine Accident and Incident Investigation Service
