GENERAL WARRANTY INFORMATION GUARANTEE
SRS is a liquid additive to inject into the electrolyte for prolongation of the life of lead-
acid batteries. It is the worlds first successfully developed super-effective additive, being
applied for patent in Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, China and the USA.
1. Product
(1) Package
Generally, SRS is bottled in 1,000 ml plastic bottles.
(2) Assured Prolongation period
New cells: two (2) years
Exhausted cells in good condition: one (1) year
(3) Performance
A used battery regenerated with SRS will maintain approx, 90% or above
performance of the equivalent new battery for duration of about three years,
subject to maintenance condition of the battery by the user.
(4) Compensation in Japan (for reference only)
In Japan, new SRS will be supplied as compensation in case SRS used
batteries performance does not recover by the quality declination of the SRS
used.
2. Background
Currently in Japan, approx. 160 millioon sets of lead-acid batteries are produced
annually. After a few years use, these batteries are replaced with newly produced
batteries. Every year, approx. 63 million sets of used batteries are sent to waste
2. management industries, and most of them are properly recycled but some of them are
disposed of as waste. From the point of view of saving resources and for the
conservation of the natural environment, development of effective measures for the
prolongation of the life of lead-acid batteries has long been an important subject of the
industries of this field. Various products have been developed for battery life
prolongation. However none of them had ever succeeded in satisfying battery makers
and users in the points of product cost, performance, easiness of handling, and
environmental protection. SRS is the worlds first successfully developed super-effective
additive for the prolongation of lead-battery life. Its performance has been proved by
over 2,000 verification tests in the past several years.
3. Features
(1) Performance of lead-acid battery is decreased mainly by lead sulfate (PbSO4)
deposition on the electrodes. When SRS is injected to the electrolyte of the
battery, it activates the colloid and removes deposited lead sulfate from the
electrodes. At the same time, SRS prevents newly generated lead sulfate
depositing on the electrodes.
(2) SRS injected in new batteries can be used for 2 to 3 times longer period than
those batteries to which no SRS is injected.
(3) Used and performance decreased battery can be regenerated to the level of a
new battery in performance unless its electrodes are damaged.
(4) Since the main material of SRS is bio-friendly, SRS is non-poisonous to
human beings. (safety of SRS has been proven by food hygienic tests made
by a recognized laboratory.
4. Application and Effectiveness
SRS can be applied to lead-batteries mounted on various equipment and facilities such
as shown in the table below.
SRS helps battery users for cost reduction of new batteries since it prolongs the life of
the new batteries.
As the result of prolongation of the life of batteries, emissions of waste to the
environment decrease.

5. Proposal to make Verification Test
In Japan for example, the manufacturer will make tests on battery users used lead-
batteries if required.
The tests are made at the manufacturers shop in Fukuoka, Japan before and after the
injection of SRS to examine changes of performance to verify the effect of SRS. The
results of the tests will be submitted to the user. The costs and expenses of the tests
are negotiated before the tests.
6. Non-acceptable Lead Batteries
Lead-batteries in the following condition are not adequate for regeneration by SRS,
and may be rejected.
(1) Lead-battery of which electrolyte specific gravity (e.s.g.) is less than 1.21 and the
difference of e.s.g. between cells are greater than 0.04.
(2) Lead-battery of which electrolyte is cloudy or muddy
(3) Lead-battery of which electrodes are damaged due to vaporization of the
electrolyte in the past.
(4) Lead-battery of which electrodes are damaged or shorted due to physical shock.
(5) Broken lead-batteries.
