2. I live in Desoto, Texas and I
am a single mother of a
beautiful 14 year old.
I enjoy reading, singing,
board games, tech gadgets
and spending time with
family.
3. I am currently employed at the Turn Around
Agenda which is a social outreach program
of a much larger non-profit organization.
My title is Adult Technology and Education
Program Coordinator. I have a background in
Human Resources, Property Management and
Insurance.

My ninth grade AP English teacher;
Mrs. Judith Strouse really impacted
my learning by showing me to look
beyond the average answer and
always ask “why.” She was one
teacher that pushed her learners to
go above and beyond and she
would not stop until we had a true
understanding. She cared about us
and it was evident that she was not
just showing up to collect a check.
5. In the future I hope to instruct learners of all ages while implementing
options of Basic Computing and further to learners K-9.
I would like to share learning outside of the traditional four walls.
Obtaining a Masters degree will allow for better career options in
teaching on many different learning levels.
6. My early years were spent in the inner city around a challenging view of
life, I was always taught that there was a better way; Education.
