Steaua Dunarii Guesthouse is the first guesthouse built in the Portile de Fier (Iron gates) Natural Park area, which opened its doors to Romanian
and foreign tourists. This happened in 2001, since then and until now being in continuous development.
The guesthouse’s exposure to sun light during the day and the surrounding landscape, the gentle ridges on both sides of the Danube River, the
charmed exit of the river from Cazanele Mici and, further, to the West, the pride of Ciucarul Mare Peak (318m) and Ciucarul Mic Peak (313m) from
the left side of the water and Veliki Strbak Peak (768m) and Mali Strbak Peak (626m) are just some of the advantages which might determine the
tourists to visit this guesthouse.
Facilities:
-13 double rooms (twin rooms).
-2 triple rooms.
-2 suites (family suite).
-4 matrimonial rooms (single).
-Restaurant for 90 persons.
- Conference room for 60 persons .
- Covered terrace with 40 seats.
-Uncovered terrace with20 seats.
-Banana for 6 people and rings.
-Nautical sky.
-Fishing boat.
-Motor boat for cruise (14 people).
