2. Integrated with current curriculum
3. Built into new integrated curriculum:
• E.g. Integrated Basic Science & Clinical Presentation course
• 10 seminars Year 1 – Year 4 students.
• Year 4: selects a real case
• Year 3: discusses evidence for treatment,
• Year 1 & Year 2: present related basic science info

NYU have taken it a step further
• Our initial partner on the
development of this content, NYU,
has integrated the BFCC content
into its course – fully integrated in its
teaching process
• Integrate with chairside technology
(e.g. eHealth record) for
management information

5. Support
• A dedicated support team to ensure:
– Student and faculty can access and use all content with ease
• Content writers and in-house subject matter experts are on
hand to provide:
– More in-depth support
– Assistance with curriculum integration

• In a university-wide technology enhanced education symposium: BFCC
content was singled out as a ideal example of technology enhanced
learning
• Our NYU partners were asked to run a continued education session and
demonstrate how effective the BFCC content is
• It was very well received and NYU School of Dentistry was singled out
from 14 schools at NYU and from several thousand classes as a key
example of innovation in education

As a result of this focused and engaging solution, a significant impact has
been made in students’ performance; benefiting them individually, and
the University or Study Organization they belong to.
First and second year students from NYU College of Dentistry were
tested pre and post watching a number of clinical cases, the results of
which can be seen in the following graphs. As you can see, an
improvement of up to 35 % in student performance is evident:
