Development of a Logistics BI System for Hydro Polymers
This is an Business case where there are multiple factories consuming/producing multiple products.
Products flow in/out of Stocks transported by ships, trucks etc.
Slide 2-4 show the Material Flow Specification for parts of these factories i.e. how is all it interconnected.
This gives the basic for the Business Analysis (BA): Structuring, quantifying and visualizing the core of this Business case
Picture is pretty stationary, but small changes might take place, Stock levels are critical and Logistics planning key to success.
Slide 5 shows all the Shipment activities for all these factories again a part of the BA because its essential in this Business case
Slide 6 is a result of the design i.e. arranging interrelated flows pr. Excel sheet. Will be filled with data pr. day, month etc. and
integrated with SAP both ways etc.
Slide 7 shows some of the user interface for the final system
Main goal is to have this intuitive logical functionality and user interface that can deliver the demands/needs from the BA.
Main demand is to have full control of this Material Flow including short/long term past/planning data.
Other demands are documentation pr. Shipments, graphical control of all kind of data, aggregated reports etc.
