The Safety Provided by Secure Trade Finance
Fuel Exports from the US to Mexico
• Contract established between fund controlled entity and end-buyer
• End-buyer either pre-pays or posts a letter of credit
• Fuel is purchased from US refinery in the name of the fund, and
owned by the fund
• Fund capital is secured by this inventory of product
• Product is shipped to Mexico with IEPS tax financed and owns
compliant Mexico based inventory once it crosses the border
• Product is delivered to various terminals in Meixco
• Released to end-buyer at terminal only once payment is complete
• Trade financing capital is secured end to end by product inventory
