We
are
very
impressed
by
the
work
done
on
the
Chumash
Heritage
National
Marine
Sanctuary
campaign
by
the
Cal
Poly
Public
Relations
team.
Nora
and
Oriana
were
pleasant
and
professional
and
immediately
grasped
our
overall
goal
of
making
a
large
portion
of
the
local
public
knowledgeable
about
national
marine
sanctuaries
and
their
community
benefits
such
that
they
will
be
sufficiently
to
motivated
to
contact
local
officials
and
community
leaders
and
ask
that
they
support
sanctuary
designation
as
the
campaign
continues.
We
were
especially
pleased
with
their
work
on
social
media
and
their
liaison
work
with
Cal
Poly
Surfrider,
the
Sierra
Student
Coalition
and
the
Cal
Poly
Multicultural
Center
and
the
potential
for
future
collaborations
they
established.
We
will
be
making
use
of
the
action
plan
the
team
created
as
we
go
forward
with
our
state
p.r.
consultants
in
Sacramento
and
the
next
Cal
Poly
P.R.
team
