Holding a position as an Associate in a start up firm not only gave me the opportunity to
handle several responsibilities but also experiment and explore various aspects of spatial
design in a variety of scales and types including residential, commercial, hospitality and
interior design. The role also required managerial skills to co-ordinate with clients,
consultants, contractors and agencies.

As a visiting tutor for architectural design for students of 2nd semester, I was able to engage
students in a rigorous design process using research of design teaching methodologies from
other international institutions and also inculcating industry knowledge in academia.

Working in this renowned Indian practice gave me the platform to build a strong foundation in
residential and hospitality projects at a design and detail level. Working in a small team of
three gave me a chance to hold responsibilities such as preparation of working and detail
drawings, site management, material handling and updating the team leader of the progress.

Fountainhead Architects, Bangalore - India (May 2009 -Oct 2009)
6 month internship in a prominent Bangalore based practice that specialized in eco friendly
architecture. As an intern I utilized the opportunity to test and explore the use of various eco
friendly materials in different architectural utilities.
As an enthusiastic and self motivated designer , I have recently
graduated with a Masters degree from the AA School of architecture in
Housing and Urbanism. I have a collective work experience of 3 and a
half years, holding different positions in various firms which has
enabled me to acquire skill sets with a very sound proficiency in
architectural design, detailing and office management.
I am currently looking to secure a position of a Part II architectural
assistant where I can add strategic value to the establishment with my
experience and education, and further my experience in the process.
