1. Name: EUNICE O. GEROSO Year & Section: BSHM 1-B
GENEOLOGY
I am the daughter of Elsie O. Geroso and Dionisio B. Geroso. I was born on October 13,
1992 at Ilabas, Sibalom, Antique. I have one older sister named Marian Socorro O. Geroso. My
mother side was from Sibalom and my father side was from Guimbal. I grew up in Manila when my
mother was working abroad to be a domestic helper and when my father was assigned in Antique to be
an Accountant in Allied Bank, we again transfer and enrolled here. We were only four in the family
sad to say when my mother undergone operation with her ovary she can no longer bear a child and so we
haven’t given a chance to have a baby brother, but still we are thankful for another life that He has
given to my mother. I am the youngest in the family.
My families tradition are to celebrate each birthday’s every year even with a simple
preparation as long as we are together, to be always present in the Semana Santa’s celebration to
attend the procession of our Patron Black Nazarene, to celebrate Christmas together with my relatives
and cousins, New Year for another year coming and also the birthday of my Mom, and also the yearly
Reunion if possible we are obliged our selves because its not always that we are together and be updated
with each other that’s why we are encouraging our relatives to be present yearly for us to reunite and be
one as God wants us to do.
I was born with faith in God because of my family’s tradition every year, to be thankful of his
blessings with a simple offering and to have a fear in Him. As part of the family it is also our
tradition to respect elders when we see them we kiss or “mano” with them as a sign of greetings and
respect. And as I grow old I will also love to teach this to my next generation of our family tradition.
