I am committed to leading and growing a dynamic and successful visual arts program.
Through working collaboratively with Senior Leadership Team, students, staff, parents and
the community. I am dedicated to achieve a shared vision for the visual arts that results in
beneficial outcomes and enhances the reputation of the organisation.

• Lead and develop a successful curricular and co-curricular visual arts program within
Saint Stephen’s. Key achievements include:
Creating and articulating a vision and strategic objectives that enable the continued growth
of visual arts within the school and increases its positive reputation.
Communicating and collaborating effectively with key internal and external stakeholders to
ensure alignment between co-curricular art department goals and the strategic priorities of
the College to achieve a shared vision.
• Plan, teach and assess curriculum visual art classes in line with the Australian
National Curriculum. Key achievements include:
Leading and developing an exemplary standard of teaching and learning in the Visual Art
department through successful implementation of the Australian National Curriculum and
College policy and standards.
Working with staff to ensure the team is utilising a range of teaching strategies that consider
the learning needs and styles of students, diversity of knowledge, social and cultural
experiences, and values in order to create an optimal learning environment.
Encouraging an environment of life-long learning amongst staff through performance
conversations and tailored professional development to achieve the implementation of the
Executive teams’ strategic plan.
• Manage the Visual Art department’s resources to ensure maximum return on
investment and value for students. Key achievements include:
Developing, managing and monitoring the annual operating and capital expenditure budget
for the senior visual art program. Purchasing and maintaining relevant materials and
services for the visual art program in accordance with the College purchasing procedures
thereby ensuring students have access to reliable and high-quality materials. Curating all
student work for whole College annual exhibition for all classes fromyear one to year
eleven.
