Business challenge: To launch its closed-captioning, subtitling and
voice-over platform as a software as a service (SaaS) solution,
MediaWen International needed to team with a cloud hosting provider
offering data center presence in Asia, Europe, North America and South
America. The company required a flexible, highly scalable cloud platform
to support its workloads, which include large video files, and allow user
access from locations worldwide.
Solution: MediaWen evaluated leading cloud solutions, including
Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and SoftLayer cloud technology.
Impressed by the SoftLayer platform’s performance and interested in
teaming with IBM for long-term business growth, the organization
provisioned a powerful SoftLayer bare metal and virtual server
infrastructure in the SoftLayer Paris data center. MediaWen introduced its
new offering at the IBM InterConnect 2015 conference and will sell the
solution through the IBM Cloud marketplace.

hébergée sur IBM Bluemix et SoftLayer
MEDIAWEN est une Start-Up du Cloud basée à Paris, Burbank
et Berlin. Ils étaient à InterConnect 2015 et au NAB à Las Vegas.
MEDIAWEN propose des solutions en ligne pour du contenu
vidéo; en particulier pour le sous-titrage multilingue et le
doublage automatique en ligne. Le produit STV Hub est
compatible aux normes FCC et ils visent donc le marché US !
