Nicolas Patrouillault worked with us as an intern between 3rd
October 2014 – 3rd
April 2015 on
our A/W’15 and subsequent Resort collection. Within this time Nicolas was an integral part of the
digital print team becoming fully immersed in all aspects of the design process. Duties involved
assisting the print team generating prints, engineering artworks, building repeat prints and
assisting in day to day duties throughout the department.
Nicolas was extremely helpful, hard working and enthusiastic. He was willing to do all the tasks
given to him with care and understanding. He is a fast learner and was able to understand what
was needed when presented with a project.
Within the developmental stages of AW/15 Nicolas furthered his digital skills working with our
prints, which in itself is a very unique and delicate process. Nicolas already had a very good
understanding of print placement, Photoshop, Illustrator and was able almost immediately to
develop and engineer artwork to a professional level.
On a personal note, Nicolas is extremely pleasant, organized and professional with a keen eye for
detail, precision and accuracy. During his internship with us he fully supported the team through a
highly pressured season and was able to work on his own initiative or as part of our team. He will
be sorely missed by all of us here at Mary Katrantzou.
