NMCBINMCBI is a not-for-profit (NPO), non-governmental
(NGO) and non-political Organization.
The main objective of the Chamber is:
To promote and develop the Industry Trade commerce and
to encourage coordination with the Chambers of Commerce
& Industry or public bodies within and outside India and to
concert and promote measures for the promotion and
protection of business, trade, industry, commerce and
services and the labour engaged therein and to remove
mutual hardships.
OTHER OBJECTIVE:
 To consider, support or oppose legislative or other government measures affecting the economic interest of
business and Industries and also make representations to the Government, local authorities and institutes e.t.c.
on grievances, if any;
 To help members understand implications of new regulations and policy proposals framed by Regulators and
Government.
 To create awareness and Conduct Training, Seminars and Conferences on the matters relating to the
regulations, skill development and policies affecting the business and industries in India and abroad.
 To promote mutual co-operation, exchange of Business, ideas and business partnering among the business and
industries of the Company.
 To consider, all questions connected with trade, Business, industry and services and to initiate and or support
necessary action connected there with;
 To help business and industries in matter of corporate social responsibility by providing knowledge and
information about the CSR laws and in effectively promoting the CSR projects for the benefits of the needy
and poor section of the society.
 To arbitrate in settlement of disputes arising out of commercial transactions between parties willing and
agreeing to abide by the judgment and decision of the Chamber and to adjust controversies between members
of the Chamber.
 To collect and circulate statistics and other information relating to trade, industry and services for the interest
of the business.
 To form a code of practice to simplify and facilitate transactions of business and to frame bye-laws, rules and
regulations for the officers of the Chamber to carry out various objects of the Chamber ;
 To subscribe or become a member of, and co-operate with the other Federations of Indian Chambers of
Commerce and Industry, and procure from and communicate with any Chamber and Association of trade and
industry such information as may be likely to forward the cause of this Chamber;
OTHER OBJECTIVE Cont....
 To subscribe to any local or other charities and to grant donations for any public purposes and to provide
provident or superannuation funds for the employees of the Chamber or otherwise to assist any such
employees, their widows and children
 To accept bequests, donations or subscriptions towards or to accumulate and provide a fund or endowment or
wake and to invest the same and apply the income arising there from or to resort to the capital thereof for any
objects of the Chamber ;
 To aid and to receive aid/contribution from any other Society, Association, Company, Corporation. Firm,
Partnership or Person promoting or formed or intended to promote any of the objects of this Chamber.
 To raise funds or borrow with or without security in line with the objectives and repay the same. To deposit in
banks or otherwise deal with the money or funds of the Chamber and to subscribe for purchase, sell, hold,
acquire, endorse and negotiate every way shares and securities of every description on the money market ;
 To alienate the properties or funds of the Chamber or any portion thereof including the marking or giving
subscription(s), contribution(s) or assistance or there wise to charitable institution(s), educational, benevolent,
social welfare or other institutional bodies, person(s) as from time to time may deem necessary
 To use all income from the property movable or immovable or from the works of the Chamber as such
whomsoever derived for the objects of the company,
 To take financial assistance, loan, take guarantee from any public charitable institutions, trusts, societies and
other such organizations as the Board of Directors may deem it beneficial and in the interest of the Chamber
for furtherance of the objects of the Chamber ; And the doing of all such other lawful things as considered
necessary for the furtherance of the above objects: Provided that the Chamber shall not support with its funds,
or Endeavour to impose on, or procure to be observed by its members or others, any regulation or restriction
which, as an object of the Chamber, would make it a trade union.

Eligibility for Membership:
 Any Individual above 18 years of age, a Company, a Limited Liability Partnership, Association of
persons or Body of individuals such Members shall be eligible for the membership of the Company.
 The application for membership should be accompanied by the applicable admission fee in the form
of a Banker’s pay order or an account payee cheque. The pay order or cheque shall be enchased
only after the Board of Directors approves the membership of the applicant.
Fees:
The fees to be collected as contribution from the members and associates at the time of admission and
on renewal every year as prescribed herein below:
Any change in the fees will be done after taking the necessary approvals from the Central Government.
