  • 5. Tonight’s headliner sees Hartlepool’s Peter Cope face Abdon Cesar for the Lightweight British Challenge Belt. Peter has shown he can compete at domestic level. Only two years ago he tonight would somewhat propel him back up the lightweight rankings. However, it’s a real toss-up, and Cesar should not be taken lightly as he is a lot better than his record suggests. Since turning professional, the former Cameroon Olympian has had things tough, often travelling on the road, and being drafted in as a last minute replacement.
