13. Balance of Power
Sole authority does not reside within foundational or officer
leadership
Overturning implementation of a new rule, kinship decision, or
feature lies solely with a “9 out of 10” Officer vote. The foundational
leadership does not have the power to change a “9 out of 10” officer
panel decision.
14. Balance of Power Cont.
All members are valued. A majority vote on a change to the kinship
by kinsmen/women will be recognized by the Officer panel for
consideration and voting. If a vote by the kinsmen/woman is
completed and not solely by the officer panel only a 2/3’s majority is
required for an “overturning” result.
“Recruiting and kicking” are the sole responsibility of officers; it is
up to them how this will be accomplished. However, the authority
to allow re-entry into the kinship lies solely with the founder. Also,
if a deadlock between officers whether to recruit or “kick” a
member the decision is then passed to the founder.
15. Original Founder Thoughts
The strength of Lucid Alliance is reliant upon the dedication of its members.
Every member has an opportunity to showcase their leadership and
development skills, Officer and Recruit alike. A fundamental focus of Lucid
Alliance is the development of a superior, end-game caliber assembly.
Those who adhere to our founding principles will be fully supported. The
benefits of membership in Lucid Alliance are reliant upon the fortitude of the
individual.
