4. Chandraghona:
 It is a town on the Karnaphuli River in
Chittagong.
 48 kilometers from the city of
Chittagong.
 One of the larger fields of the
Bangladeshi crop Gumai Jheel is in the
area.
It was established in 1993 by Pakistan
Development Corporation.

5. CRB(Central Railway Building):
 The building was completed in
1872.
Bengali New Year celebrated every
year on the open stage called
"Shireeshtala" at CRB area.

6. Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach:
 It consists of 8 upazilas, 3 municipalities, 27 wards,
wards, 58 mahallas, 67 union parishads, 199
mouzas and 975 villages.
 Population: 1757321
 The beach in Cox’s bazar is unbroken 125
kilometers sandy sea beach with a gentle slope.
 History In 1799 the East India company appointed
captain Hiram Cox to rehabilitate the Arakanese
Refugees
 In 1971, Cox's Bazar wharf was used as a naval
port by the Pakistani Navy’s gunboats

7. Patenga Sea Beach:
 It’s about 22km and located 14km south
from the port city of Chittagong.
 The beach is very close to the Bangladesh
Naval Academy and Shah Amanat
International Airport.
 It is near to the mouth of the Karnaphuli
River.

8. World War II Cemetery
 The cemetery was created by the British Army,
and there were originally about 400 burials
 There are now 731 Commonwealth burials of
the 1939-45 war here, 17 of which are
unidentified.
 Most of the burials by country UK-471 people
 It is located at Dampara.

9. Tomb of Sultan Bayezid Bostami
 Bayazid Bostami was a famous Persian Sufi born
in Bostam,Iran.
 It’s discoered in 1831.
 Bayazid or his followers visited the port city
around the middle of the 9th century.
 In front of the tomb, there is a large pond that
houses a large number of black soft-shelled
turtles known as Bostami Turtule

There are so many heritages in Chittagong. They act as a tourist
spot also. Nowadays our government becomes aware to
protect them. We all should aware about the heritages and
