Uttarakhand conducted its maiden Investors Summit "Destination Uttarakhand" in October 2018 which was a remarkable event with
presence of Hon'ble Prime Minister of India and the key industry champions across the sectors. The summit helped in enriching the
Investmentclimate andshowcasedthereadinessof UttarakhandforInvestments.Effective investorfacilitation mechanismassisted in
quickgroundingofprojects.

The Government of Uttarakhand has made huge strides in its efforts to create an investor friendly environment in the State through its
investor-centric policies, investment in infrastructure, availability of skilled manpower and various regulatory reforms. These initiatives

Uttarakhandis oneoftheleadingStatesintheEaseofDoingBusiness(EODB)rankingsbyDPIIT.TheState’sInvestmentPromotionAgency
(IPA)is adjudgedas the ‘TopPerformer byInvestIndia,DPIIT,in the rankings for IPAsacross 20States in the Country. Uttarakhand is also
recognizedasa‘TopPerforming’StateintheHimalayanStatesCategoryasperExportPreparednessIndex,2020reportbyNITIAayog.
