The North Carolina Alliance for Athletics, Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (NCAAHPERD) is one of the oldest professional associations in North Carolina dedicated to the advancement of research and education within the fields of Athletics, Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. NCAAHPERD is an alliance of six associations: Dance Association for North Carolina Educators (DANCE) North Carolina Association for Athletic Education (NCAAE) North Carolina Association for the Advancement of Health Education (NCAAHE) North Carolina Sports Management Association (NCSMA) Physical Education Association (PEA) Student Majors Association (SMA)
