3. Always follow
manufacturer’s
instructions for
cleaning your leather
jackets as printed on
the tag. This may
specify the
temperature of water
you may need to use
whilst washing or the
kind of detergent or
cleaning solution that
is best suitable for the
clothing item. If there
are no instructions
available as this is
usually the case follow
the next few steps.
4. Wipe your jacket with
a damp cloth before
opting to wash it as
this may in most
cases remove traces
of dirt and dust
however in cases
where the jacket has
been stained by oily
food or spices’,
washing is best
5. Keep in mind to use a detergent or cleaning solution that
is leather friendly. Leather jackets can only be hand
washed at all times and it is best to dry away from direct
sunlight
6.
7. Be sure to store your leather jacket in
a cool dry place at all times.
Occasional dry cleaning with a
cleansing solution is also a good idea
cause this will eliminate fungus that
may cause the leather to disintegrate.
Keep your leather apparel away from
direct sunlight and rain.
