4.	ENVIRONMENTAL & SOCIAL IMPACT
ASSESSMENTS (ESIA)
Environmental & Social Impact Assessment is the
process of identifying, predicting, evaluating and
mitigating the biophysical, social, and other relevant
effects of development proposals before major
decisions & commitments are made.
Projects that requires EIAs are; those in the mining,
construction, heavy industries, telecommunication,
electricity generation et cetera; that have got
significant impacts to the environment according
to World Bank guidelines and the Zimbabwean
Environmental Management Act (CAP 20:27). We has
got a registered and reliable team of experts that are

b. OPERATIONAL PHASE
5.	ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING &
AUDITING
Environmental Monitoring and Auditing are post-
ESIA services we are proud to offer with excellence.
The process of monitoring involves the measuring
and recording of relevant variables (bio-physical
and socio—economic) associated with development
impacts (e.g. traffic flows, dust, noise, employment).
It provides information on the characteristics and
functioning of these variables in time and space, and
in particular on the occurrence and magnitude of
impacts. Monitoring include a systematic collection of
varioustypesofinformationquarterlyinlinewithEMA
(CAP 20:27) and other applicable requirements. It is
through monitoring and auditing the Environmental
Management Plan (a section in the ESIA report) is
operationalized to ensure sustainable development.
