Aftab: These days the painting exhibition of Damirchi is convened in Shirin Gallery under title
of “Creation of Eve”, as to technic, material and subject he follows a different look in the
contemporary painting, there are 17 works of this artists in big sizes of 2 x 8 meters . He has had
a free look at the forms and lines and also he has taken advantage of miniature technics also he
has presented his works with the organic materials like coffee, chocolate, cacao, tea and colorful
spices. The subject of his painting in this exhibition is creation of Eve and human’s descend.
Mostafa Damirchi is experienced artists and winner of 4th painting biennial of Tehran who
has convened several exhibitions in foreign counties during last 10 years.
Damirchi now has held his second Solo Painting Exhibition after one decade he was born in
1978 and is graduate of graphic high school and has studied graphic in university too.
He started painting 15-16 years ago and when he started design, his activities got professional.

Winners of Tehran Contemporary Painting Biennial were introduced
The Iranian Painters Society and the executive secretary of the 6th reported the
formation process of this biennial and appreciated and acclaimed the winners. He
believes that it is a very good biennial in Iran.
The jury of biennial comprised of 11 painter, filmmaker, architect artists and artists
critics.
The winners were declared as follows:
Ahmad Montazeri Roudbaraki, Barbod Golshiri and Rokneddin Hayerizadeh.

Damirchi to expose a collection of his works in Tehran after 10 years
Mostafa Damirchi is one of the winners of 6th Iranian contemporary painting biennial in 2003
and now his work is kept by Contemporary Art Museum. After 10 year he intends to expose his
works in Tehran this winter.
For 10 years he has had studies in field of arts specially art of Middle East and Far East. For this
reason he travelled to different countries of the works and engaged in artistic activity, he
studied philosophy for three years in the far villages of East Asia. Certainly he convened certain
exhibitions during these tears like his exhibition in Salzburg of Austria, also he worked on
interior decoration during these years.
He has taught his art before the master like Jalal Shabahangi, Reza Hedayat, ....., he used to
design 17 years per day for 10 years and studied art for 10 years but his works are not similar to
anyone else.
He got prize when he was 35 years old. About his new collection he said three collected of
“creation” “ Lover’s Aim” and “Luxury Death” which have not been exposed before and after
their exposing in Iran they will be exhibited in Emirates, New York and London. His style is
completely known and therefore his works need no signature.
About experiences of his studies he believes that all humans say one thing and the stories in the
different religions are expressed with different languages they all talk about one God just their
languages are different.
In “Creation of Eve” the human’ descent has been expressed in “Lover’s Aim” which is digital
painting, he has shown the experience of love and real happening of today world, the human
beings, their relationship and philosophy are all theme of these works.

Contemporary Art means Return to the Past
The second exhibition of Mostafa Damirchi is now convened after 10 years and 6th Tehran
Painting Biennial, during this period he has convened some solo exhibition in foreign countries.
Now he has convened his second exhibition in Shirin Gallery under title of “Creation of Eve”
and has exposed his 17 works in big sizes of 4-8 meters. His different glance and using the
materials which have been used less in contemporary art are among the interesting points of
this exhibition.
After 6th Biennial he work was assigned to the Museum which is a great event for a young artist
and then he travelled to different countries to create new things.
During the past decade he has lived in different places and has had different studies on art of
Middle East.
He tries to preserve his personal expression in presenting his works and tries to present a
unique word.
In “Creation of Eve” he has recreated his own mind and tried to present the same in a bigger
frame.

Mostafa Damirchi: I don’t censure my painting
Mostafa Damirchi believes that he has not censured anything in creation of his works and he
has had no limitations.
He has not exposed his works since 10 years ago and now his new collection “Creation of Eve”
will be exposed in Shirin Gallery.
Nomination of his work in the 6th Painting Biennial made him much glad and then he started
continuous works and studies and now he has another exhibition after 10 year.
He is a daring artist and always tries to draw something he believes in. Ten years gave him
opportunity to find color of his lines.
This collection has tried to define its own narration in big dimensions, he did not like that
everything to be ended in A4 size, he emphasized in enlargement of this event and he intends to
continue such daring definition in his next exhibition.
He has tried to keep the cultural myth and myth of his own life and to convert them to
animation he believes that similarity to animation is not bad at all; someone must understand
the lines feeling and then start such work.
Another feature of his works is their decorative and he believes that the luxury cannot be
neglected in the art market.

A Critic on Organic Paintings of Mostafa Damirchi

17 Organic works of Mostafa Damirchi was opened on 5 March 2016 in Shirin Gallery. The
painting works are in big sizes 2 -8 meters. Its title is “Creation of Eve” and human’s
falling on the earth. It is completely a different glance as to technique, materials and
theme.
What causes increasing the relationship of the works with the audience is its big size
and using the rhythmic forms and line with special features, all the lines are cam out
heart of each other and are connected to each other continuously, so that for being they
don’t need each other, exactly similar to world and its creation
The texture and background of the works are painted smartly for better expression of
the text in order to assist transfer of the concept of the creations. The background color
has been executed with the organic materials such as coffee, chocolate, cacao, tea and
colorful spices.
There are different attitudes in these works like myth, creation symbols, birth and
female feeling which all created with miniature lines, free and very powerful.
Repeat and accumulation of lines in the figures and its labyrinth forms caused increase
of rhythm in the works and as a result centralist of the works. The symbol of woman
has been symbol of birth and as EVE who is completely specified in these works.
The works of this artist narrates creation of human being and his falling on the earth
and using the iconic and symbolic messages would multiple its meaning.
The significant point of these works is organic structure of its design, the organic design
insights would start from architecture.
Another important point of these works are their correct composition and structure, if
the different cadre and details of one tableau to be selected , it would be a single work
per se and by composition and setting aside each other, it would express birth and
creations.

exposing and preserving in the Contemporary Art Museum.
During this period he has convened several solo exhibition in foreign countries. Now after 10
years he has convened his second solo exhibition in Shirin Gallery.
In his exhibition under title of “Creation of Eve” he has exposed 17 works in dimension of 4 x 8
m., his different glance in painting and using the materials which are less used are among the
interesting points of this exhibition.
Selection of his work for exposing in the museum was an awesome event for a 245 years old
artist, after 6th painting biennial and then he travelled to different countries to create new things.

The second exhibition of Mostafa Damirchi is now convened after 10 years and 6th Tehran
Painting Biennial, during this period he has convened some solo exhibition in foreign countries.
Now he has convened his second exhibition in Shirin Gallery under title of “Creation of Eve”
and has exposed his 17 works in big sizes of 4-8 meters. His different glance and using the materials
which have been used less in contemporary art are among the interesting points of this
exhibition.
After 6th Biennial his work was assigned to the Museum which is a great event for a young artist
and then he travelled to different countries to create new things.

His painting are different in view point of concept and type of implementation, therefore he
used different materials whatever creates stronger feeling is interesting for him.
During the past decade he has lived in different places and has had different studies in art of
the Middle East and Middle Asia , he followed mental and spiritual revelation with the surface
canvas through color and artistic elements it means though discharge with the visual creation
based on aesthetic fundamentals.
He tried to preserve his own personal expression in presenting his works and tried to present
unique works which is procedure of work creation and has no relation with his concept.
He believes that basically the contemporary art is return to the past, his works are relied on
design it means that the design powers are known in his works more than anything else.
He believes that this dialogue is in the world art, he discovered the Iranian painting lines and
took advantage of the experience of the ancient time as far as material may concern.
As to economic infrastructure of the art there are many problems which must be solved
accordingly.

“Creation of Eve” by Mostafa Damirchi (Dachi) has a different glance to the Iranian painting
art. In this exhibition 17 works of this experienced artist have been exposed all are new
manifestation of miniature. He has tried to expose the details in a big frame in order to give new
concept to the details of miniature.
Damirchi (Dachi) has tried to create works with big dimensions 4-8 meters by using the fluid
and circle lines. His art makes the audience to re-discover the miniature art. He has had an
abstract attitude to the Iranian miniature. He has not relied on classical rules of anatomy but has
given fluidity to the fissures of his works.
Generally speaking Damirchi has created a contemporary narration of Iranian painting art in
“Creation of Eve” by using the organic colors like coffee, chocolate, cacao, tea and colorful
spices.
He tried to emphasis on narrations as well.

Graphics but he used to design always and cannot stop painting,
He started his painting 15-16 years ago a process which started with design and then
professional painting.
One of his important exhibitions was in Barg Gallery which was held before biennial, painting
is beyond a job for him , , he lived actually, travelled, painted , he is seeking diversity of style
and techniques, for example his previous exhibition was oil color and in this exhibition he has
used natural materials like coffee, saffron, turmeric and cinnamon with chemical studies about
them. He believes that nothing is by accident. He never experiences fear in the lie.
He always enjoyed figurative works because he can find anything in it. The subject of his
exhibition is “Creation of Eve” i.e. different angels of human being, the creation is made every
moment and creation is always with us.
The techniques of organic colors have 150 years of history in Iran. He always interested in
miniature and he experienced mixing the organic colors with the chemical colors like acrylic.
He prefers actual studies, because every book is result of view point of human.

The student section of 7th International Sculpture Symposium of Tehran is a unique
opportunity for the art students. Such opportunity provides the chance of working in a
serous arena and besides the professional artists.
The maquettes presented by the sculpture students as the first stage of this challenge
indicate their dealing in a process full of pure innovations, these works enjoy a kind of
freshness as a kind of initial reaction, in other word the works in this section lacks
efficient on volume language most of them are influenced by the contents of textbooks
of faculty of sculpture with a tendency to different art schools but without any
independent achievements for them.
But their motivated attempts for making surprise and different expose of the sculpture,
enlargement of the feelings and senses would be considered.
Moreover dealing of the students with the fundamentals of the visual arts as taught in
the textbooks would have a close connection with the same.
Finally the most important aspect is setting aside the student or amateur group with the

A critic by Amin Shahed on Painting Exhibition of Mostafa Damirchi
Mostafa Damirchi has been far from artistic atmosphere of Iran for10 years and after
winning in the 6th painting biennial and engaged in the research and training in the fat
places of middle Asia and far east and now he has dealt with fundamental subjects like
creation, exposes the honest concerns of an artists who has been engaging in study of
philosophy and east mysticism and when the audience sees his works , would ask
whether he has been seeking the truth or there are result of emotional outflow.
Whatever it is the nature of his works are complex and bitter while he has emphasized
on purity of human being by using the natural colors like coffee.
The subject of his paintings transfers the power of coloring and using the forms on
behalf of the painter to the audience.
And sometime the free lines and much dare in designs would cause additional elements
out of control
In his works we are witness of power in controlling the big surfaces for painting and a
powerful design. His mental atmosphere is between figure and abstract and we hope to

Mostafa Damirchi is a painter who decided to see all the world and experience different lives at
the pinnacle of the fame 10 years ago when he was selected as winner of the Biennial of Tehran
Contemporary Art Museum , he wanted to see the different people and now after these years he
has decided to expose the results of such experiences.
He believes that his trip was a journey inside himself; he did business, decoration, branding
and in all his works he tried to keep the harmony.
In this exhibition 19 works 1.5 m. x 2-8 meters were exposed.
He used the techniques of miniature but his works are not miniature. During these years he has
used much techniques and colors in his works and for this exhibition he wanted that his design
would have independent personality for this reason he used miniature techniques and colors

After one decade Mostafa Damichi has exposed his new works in Shirin Gallery with big
dimensions full of energy and dare , he has dare to draw his lines on big canvas , he believes
that it is because he never experienced fear before , by watching his works, such dare can be
seen , separate from his technical achievements he tries to give meaning of the human life.
He always loves that his works surprise the audiences and the audience talks about his/her
feelings when looking at his works. His paintings are not similar to anyone else, they are
original, he always has interaction with the shite canvas and permanent exchange of energy .
He has used organic colors in his works but had used oil color and acrylic in his previous
paintings, his dare is not limited to line there is a kind of dare in his expression and in his art.
He never tolerated any compulsory limitation and it has manifestation in his paintings.
The base of his compositions are circles he works with cured lines much, the curved
composition has give more emotion to his works and he enjoy such motions.
