4. The bottom line may be that my in-
venting buildings is, indeed, a very private
kind of activity. But it is done to be shared. It
is comforting and consoling. From the reac-
tions I get I can see I am not doing some-
thing strange.

6. The project area is located in the historical heart of the city center,
surrounded by important and popular pedestrian and vehicular
passages. Despite this strategic position,the average city pass-
erby tends to move around the area itself rather then penetrat-
ing and making use of it. During the day both on weekdays and
weekends the area seems farely frequented,however these so
called visitors are nothing more then bystanders making use of
the nearby connections to get from A to B. During the evening
both the pedestrian and vehicular traffic subsides,and the city
activity/nightlife moves to the surrounding city streets,notwith-
standing the vicinity of these areas to the Pescherie,the lack of
any form of activity in Piazza Martiri leaves much to be desired.
Discontinuity with the river front Unused Portico. Poor accessibil-
ity for the disabled. Lack of activities and services for both locals
and tourists. No use of the natural resources and environment
Diluted cultural and heritage character The arts incubator as-
sists artists and imerging art organizations while drawing to it’s
neighborhood new smal arts associated businesses such as
cafès, market and arts related suppliers. This cultural center
promotes the development of innovative art forms among peo-
ple of diverse cultures,individual artists and art organisations
benefit from the comple shared resources such as art galleries,
performance spaces, studio work spaces and equipment.

12. The concept of the architectural and planning organization is
the idea of creating a volume of historical and archaeological
landscape of the city. The main volume of the building coming
and growing out of seven layers - layers of the earth,which
identifies Union 7 general,which ushered in the Bashkir ethnic
group - the researchers are the following historical and ethno-
graphic groups of layers.
The 7 layers are displayed in a horizontal layered structure of
the facade,as a reminder of the historical origins of the area.
Also,“magic” number 7 you can meet in the composition of
volumes - 7 exhibition halls,the prototype of which is the typi-
cal dwelling of the Bashkir nomads - yurt. All the building as a
whole contains elements of puzzle that will unravel the visitors.
In appearance it is expressed in a special perforation finishing
layer of stone in the form of the ornament,which is read in the
dark by means of architectural lighting.
The architectural silhouette of the museum is integrated
harmoniously and emphasizes the visual appearance of the
place. The projected volume of forms of urban architecture
ensemble entrance Panorama Ufa Peninsula,elegantly playing
with the composite dialogue with the mosque,without challeng-
ing its primacy. It is planned that the museum complex will be
a sort of “House of History”,where every citizen of our region
find their understanding of the historical and cultural identity.
The proposed facility becomes a mental intangible door to our
past and a place of collective memory. All of these features
will help to develop meaningful self-identity of the Bashkir
region.
