Recommendation letter
To whom it may concern,
I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Mr. Juraj Moravdik. As the
Professor in the Department of Mineralogy and Petrology at Comenius University in Bratislava,
I instructed Mr. Moravdft in several classes. He proved to be a capable and motivated student
with all of the qualities necessary to pursue any of geological jobs.
Mr. Moravdft displayed during his master study (and current PhD study) impressive logical
thinking abilities and an intellectual curiosity beyond that of his peers. He was always an active
participant in classes who listened eagerly and never hesitated to raise questions. Mr. Moravdik
has a strong academic background in relevant academic areas, and his academic performance
ranked him firmly in the top of his class. In addition to his academic excellence, he was also a
pleasure for teachers and classmates to work with. He is very easy-going and polite, and
although he is very serious and motivated in her pursuit of knowledge, he is also very humble
and willing to listen to others' ideas.
Aside from his outstanding academic qualities, Mr. Moravdik has a wealth of practical
experience. He has qualified in several GIS courses (Maplnfo Professional; Discover 3D;
LeapfrogGeo 3D). He has gained experience from geological field trips, which can help him to
understand structural and geodynamics relations between rocks. Penetration to scientific sphere
allow him cooperate with numerous geological personalities and gave him an opportunity to
teach and lead students. He offers all the qualities of a good leader, and all of the characteristics
desirable in an ideal team member.
I was very impressed with Mr. Moravdik. His overall performance shows a unique creativity
and a very serious and responsible attitude towards his ambitions. For these reasons I
recommend Mr. Moravdik as appropriate member of your team.
