• Operational Planning. Operational plans are about how things
need to happen.
• Strategic Planning: Strategic plans are all about why things
need to happen.
• Tactical Planning: specify the detail of how overall objectives
are to be met
• Short term: plan for less than a year
• Long term: plan for beyond five year
