4. First day
• This training included five dedicated days on the
VX 700WV although was meant for a Two stroke
engine WV but also included an introduction of
four stroke engines with differences and features
of both types.
• Familiarizing tech to the technical guides like
service manuals and parts manuals .learning all the
systems ;fuel ,lubrication, electrical ,ignition and jet
propulsion.
6. Second Day
• The second day and third day was dedicated
for dismantling and assembly of the engine ,
doing the overall and checks on the parts to
be fitted going through the specs and
measurements’ needed.
• Assembling the engine and running the
tunings and Idle speed controls. And
commissioning the WV.
9. Fourth Day : YDIS
• The Fourth day was completely dedicated for
the Four stroke engines and the Diagnostic
system YDIS of Yamaha trouble shooting and
analysis of reports on the F200 and F250
engines on the fleet there , and a brief about
the two main types used in WV the 1100 block
and the 1800 cc Block.
11. Fifth Day: Awareness
•
• The Fifth day was an educational day for both the service
men and the operators it was an out side the workshop day
were we visited a search and rescue unit using the Vx 700
and the FX 1100 WV
• In this visit we demonstrated the safety precautions and
the procedure to deal with the WV before Riding ,during
riding and after riding , we high lighted the
recommendation illustrated in the owner manual and
practiced them.
• This concluded the training course and we promised them
another course dedicated to the four stroke WV in the next
quarter of this year.
