Curriculum Vitae
2. Technical and Practical Skills
• Excellent understanding of engineering fundamentals and able to solve related problems given in projects.
• Competent at software such as CATIA V5, SolidWorks, MATLAB- Simulink and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Currently studying Control Systems with simulating Mechanical systems in Simulink, Finite Element Analysis
using Hyper-Mesh and learning programming skills.
• Good at communicating effectively, using both written and verbal methods.
• Strong team-worker with the ability to manage time, work under pressure, co-ordinate effectively with team
members, work according to deadlines.
• Adequate understanding of Solid Mechanics and Thermodynamics’ concept and able to use them to solve
related problems given in projects.
• Knowledge of key Engineering Design elements, Engineering Technical Reports and Engineering Technical
Drawings according to British Standards.
Positions of Responsibility: Humanitarian Project
Objective: In a multidisciplinary group of 6 students; design a toy-car with due consideration to cost, sustainability
and design life to carry weight of 1 kg on given tracks within 6 days whilst maintaining a well-ordered
log-book.
• My role within the team was project time-planning and to design the structure of the car.
• Developed a design based on using re-cycled materials with 4 gear-mechanisms for transmission of
power.
• Achieved overall 90% score by well-organised work and good gear configuration in the toy-car.
Learning: Enjoyed working on the project and learnt importance of good co-ordinated group work. I gained
confidence as part of a team and developed excellent interpersonal skills.
Furthermore, if I were to complete the project again, I would ensure that I researched in more depth initially in
order to know more about the gear-mechanism in toy cars.
Career Plans
Eventual career goal is to become a fully-qualified and experienced mechanical engineer, with the longer-term
aspiration of becoming a chartered engineer and moving into project management.
Hobbies and Interests
• Scientific Documentaries: Love watching documentaries which redefines technology and introduce latest
engineering advancements on YouTube and TV channels.
• Footbal: Big football enthusiast who loves to watch and play football. Likes to watch league matches and
sometimes like to watch them live as well.
