The document discusses fractional CO2 laser technology and its applications. It can be used to treat various skin conditions like wrinkles, scars, and pigmentation by vaporizing thin layers of skin with minimal heat damage. The laser works by scanning the skin in a pattern with micro thermal zones to stimulate collagen production for skin tightening and renewal. It also describes using different handpieces and treatment modes for skin resurfacing, scar removal, and vaginal rejuvenation procedures.
2. Introduction
Co2 has been used for years to treat different skin
issues, including wrinkles, scars, warts, enlarged oil
glands on the nose, and other conditions.
The newest version of CO2 laser resurfacing
(fractionated CO2) uses very short pulsed light
energy (known as ultra pulse) or continuous light
beams that are delivered in a scanning pattern to
remove thin layers of skin with minimal heat damage.
3. Applications
Fractional Co2 laser is designed to cut, burn, vaporize, and solidify tissue
for different clinic surgery purposes with different headpieces.
1. Skin renewing and resurfacing
2. Wrinkle removal, skin tightening
3. Age spots and acne scar removal
4. Smooth burnt scars and surgical scars
5. Remove intractable chloasma and pigmentation
6. Sun damage recovery
7. Cut skin neoplasm, abnormal growth
8. Virginal tightening
4. How to work for scars wrinkle removal
The Fractional CO2 Laser vaporize lines, wrinkles, scars, dark spots and
other irregularities, layer by layer. This process also stimulates the formation
over time of new, underlying collagen to provide better elasticity and support
for the skin.
1. Skin with problems before treatment 2. Fractional laser works on the skin
3.Thousands of micro thermal zones 4. More collagen is produce after
treatment are produced activate skin resurfacing
The Laser beam is absorbed well in water which causes destruction by rapidly
heating and vaporization of the tissue.
5. How to Works for Vaginal Tightening
Throughout the aging process our facial skin looses its vitality, wrinkles
appear, and elasticity is reduced due to Collagen fibers fatigue. This is why
so many women around the world, take cosmetic steps such as facials,
innovative creams, and aesthetic procedures to ensure their face looks as
young as possible.
Same process occurs in the vaginal tissue area where collage fibers loose
their elasticity while we age, and give birth.
Due to structural changes in the vagina and urethra area and the loss of
Collagen fibers' firmness, this phenomenon can cause reduction in sexual
fulfillment in addition to stress urinary incontinence at different severity
levels.
6. Treatment hand piece
Different hand pieces (one scanner, two cutter,3 Virginal handpiece)
typically used for cutting or vaporization or virginal tightening.
The spot size for scanner can be adjustable.
7. Operation Modes
Scan Mode Impulse mode
The CO2 laser can be used in the continuous mode of operation for making
relatively bloodless incisions and reducing adjacent tissue damage and post-
operative swelling. In Pulsed mode, the laser produces a train of relatively
high power short duration pulses. By which, a smaller residual zone of thermal
Damage will occur than with continuous mode. Ultra pulsed mode, produces
very short pulses (< 1ms) at high power that can remove thin layers of skin in a
single pass with little thermal damage compared to pulsed mode.
