16. VISION AND HEARING
visual testing can be done by asking patients to read few lines
from news paper. if patients can able to read head lines and
sentences there is a normal acuity. if only the head lines is
read there is moderate impairment and there is sever
impairment.
30. SUMMARY
In this we have seen about assessment for geriatric patient
where we need to address multiple aspects for geriatric
patient. The complexity of assessment in geriatric population
as it covers multiple system screening within valid tools is
necessary. to interact with geriatric population and good
understanding of their behavior help you to develop your skill
better manner.
