1. MIKE SHAMBA
Born on the 13th of May, in the Republic Democratic of Congo, Matriculated from Jules high
school, then went on to study Mechanical engineering at VaalTech, He has recreated himself to be
one of the sought after Motivational speaker.
Mike Shamba uses motivational speaking as a tool to inspire, impact and transform lives of
numerous individuals by pushing them over their own limits, doubts and negative disposition; hence
provoking them to believe and tap in their dormant potentials.
According to mike Shamba; many individuals have not achieved mental freedom, most especially in
the African society. He believes that individuals are being trained and taught on what to think, rather
than how to think; hence he strives to see individuals shifting from such a reality, in-order to
embrace a new model of life whereby people are more independent and critical in their thinking. In
order to achieve and build the new model of life; Mike Shamba leads the Go Make A Difference
Mentorship (Go M.A.D) where individuals are mentored on Personal development programs, social
development programs and Academic development programs.
As a motivational speaker, Mike Shamba has featured in Spotong Magazine, also had the privilege
to be invited by the President of the National Tourism And Hospitality Association on women’s
day celebration on the 28th of August 2014, in attendance was a whole host of women leaders from
the different branches of the GLF (Gauteng Liquor Forum), NTHA (National Tourism and
Hospitality Association) and their supporting amenities. Represented at the event were the Gauteng
Liquor Board and the SAB.
On September 17th 2014 He had the privilege to give a 2 minute un-prepared speech at the Anglo
American toastmasters.
On the 16th of April 2015 Mike Shamba was invited at SA fm, to be part of a discussion centered
around the xenophobic attack, then four days later he was invited to be interviewed at Radio Junto,
Thetha fm, right after the interview at Radio Junto, He was requested to also be interviewed for a
show which would be broadcasted on a National Television, He had since received numerous
invitations to speak at:
Different organizations such as: Fundisizwe Development Project, Common Power, Straight Talk
Youth Empowerment (Durban) and many more.
Different High Schools and colleges such as: Jules High School, Kensington secondary, Queens
high school, Glenvista High, Pc training College and many more.
