Following the guidelines of the ‘One Belt and One Road Initiative’
launched by the Chinese government advocating open and
inclusive cooperation, China Toy and Juvenile Products Association
(CTJPA) has been committed in promoting the development and
prosperity of the industry on an international level. The 2019 China
Toy Expo is a 3-day event held in Shanghai. Initially launched in
2002, CTE has now been recognized as the No.1 Toy industry
B2B trade fair in Asia. It vows to bring together innovative products
in technology, materials and design, widely recognized by industry
specialists, distributors and consumers. According to a market
survey by Growth from Knowledge (GFK) in 2018, China’s ever
expanding toy market size reached up to USD 10 billion. Currently,
it has an annual growth rate of 8% per annum. With the rapid
expansion of outbound investment, China will surpass USA as the
biggest overseas investor in the next 10 years.
