3. DEFINITION OF UNEMPLOYMENT
Unemployment is a world wide problem.
Unemployment or joblessness is the situation
of actively looking for employment but not
being currently employed.
The unemployment rate is a measure of the
prevalence of unemployment.
4. UNEMPLOYMENT RATE IN
PAKISTAN
Unemployment Rate in Pakistan is expected
to be 6.00 percent by the end of this quarter,
according toTrading Economics global macro
models and analysts expectations. In the
long-term, the Pakistan Unemployment Rate
is projected to trend around 5.70 percent in
2020, according to our econometric models.
6. 1.POVERTY
When people are unemployed they consume
resources but fail to contribute to the overall
economy that results in poverty. It is the
mother of all issues and makes people turn to
violence and crimes.
7. 2.PSYCHOLOGICAL AFFECTS IN
SOCIETY
People spend less money due to its deficiency
causing depression, anxiety, tensions, and
many other mental and physical health
issues, negative emotions and also
dissatisfaction due to it. Recently its been
noted that in Pakistan 1,160 suicide cases
have come up due to unemployment.

The shrinking economy has weekend the
government credibility amongst people.
Unemployment makes society weak and makes
its productive power low.
Child labor and terrorists, robbers, thieves
increase.
Workless people are always dangerous, they are
a burden on the state. Like other developing
countries Pakistan is also effected by
unemployment, we need vocational institutes
for employment as well.
9. SUMMARIZATION
Shortage of capital is an important cause
of unemployment in a developing country
like Pakistan. 5.5 million children are out of
school. Hence rate of unemployment is
increasing year after year. In Pakistan, the
solution to the unemployment problem lies in
an energetic industrial revival, sustained
economic growth and effective control on
birth.

13. POOR EDUCATION SYSTEM
Education is considered as the cheapest
defense of a nation.
• Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan
says, “The state of Pakistan shall remove
illiteracy and provide free and compulsory
secondary education within minimum
possible period” .
• Illiteracy is not taken as a serious issue by
government.
• Lack of quality teachers, syllabus,
infrastructure.

unemployment is a problem that leads to
many other problems. So its eradication is
compulsory even though its very hard but yes
we need to and have to slowly by slowly
sweep this dirt from our state to make
progress in its development may it be
economic or any other.
